Residential Program Specialist
Crossroads Services, Inc. is hiring Residential Program Specialists. Crossroads Services, Inc. provides a rewarding career for those interested in building relationships and caring for others.
- The Residential Program Specialist will implement ISPs, assessments and monitor medications
- Schedule and conduct meetings
- The Residential Program Specialist will be responsible for training staff
- Assist and provide care for individuals
- Maintain required documentation in adherence to regulations
- Work closely with families and guardians
- Travel to residential homes frequently
Applicants must complete a pre-employment physical, TB Test, drug screen and criminal history/background before employment. All required tests are provided at the expense of Crossroads Services, Inc.
- Must be highly organized and attend work as scheduled
- Have basic management principles – problem solving, effective decision making, conflict resolution, organization, planning, ethics, etc.
- Able to follow and document compliance standards and practice while in the field
- Meet paperwork and performance deadlines
- Attend required meetings and trainings
- Ability to communicate orally, listen, hear and process conversations, and interpret data collection
- High level of record keeping – ability to maintain accurate filing of compliance, training, program and medical charting
- Experience in Microsoft applications
- Travel (utilizing company vehicles) to residential homes around the Altoona area
- Master’s degree with 1 year of experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Associates degree with 4 years of experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities or autism
- Must have a clear criminal history
- Driver’s license required
- Must complete company paid physical

Crossroads Services, Inc. is hiring for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Altoona, Duncansville, and Hollidaysburg. The successful candidates will provide community integration, personal care, medication administration, cooking, cleaning, companionship, and assistance in helping to enhance the lives of those we support.

Day Program DSP
Crossroads Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Direct Support Professional at our Day Program location. The position requires working in a group setting with individuals with varying degrees of physical and intellectual disabilities. This position will require a highly motivated and person-centered approach. The candidate must be a creative problem solver, active, energetic, caring, and willing to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
The Direct Support Professional position requires you to have your High School Diploma/GED and a valid PA Driver’s license.
